Memórias do Clube Caixeiral de Rio Grande/RS.

Abstract

The present study entitled Memoirs of the Club Caixeiral de Rio Grande/RS aims to analyze the trajectory of the social memory of a category, the clerks in Rio Grande/RS before their actions, both political-economic, and socio-cultural, and how this micro-collective memory was being inserted into the memorial macro process. After presenting briefly a history on the expansion of the salesmen in Brazil and Rio Grande do Sul from the second half of the nineteenth century, as well as its main objective of fighting that was the closing of the doors of commerce on Sundays and the holidays in the late part E. Thus, new social contexts that have become intersect, have offered a diversity of socio-cultural activities, and that have been rememoradased through news, personal reports, images, documents, institutional character, both public and deprived of people who have delineated the class and the Caixeiral club, keeping more than a family contact, or the extent of the home, but a meeting in itself. Zikr also provided a discussion about oblivion and its offshoots from our research object, analyzing the conflicts that intersected in a past, creating memorial ambiguities in the present.
