This paper aims to present the results of the ARQ-GEO Project, organized for the Brazilian Archaeological Society – Sociedade de Arqueologia Brasileira (SAB), whose objective is to integrate relevant information on vocational training in the field of Archeology in Brazil. It is noteworthy that the Brazilian Archaeological Society (SAB) was founded in 1980 and it is a scientific, private, nonprofit oriented and non-governmental civil association that brings archeologists and other specialists dedicated to teaching, research and the practice of Archeology and related areas together, aiming to promote the dissemination of knowledge from subjects related to Archeology and archaeological heritage in Brazil. The ARQ-GEO Project is a research that systematizes the data contained in various databases related to the field of professional training in Archeology, in order to gather this data and allow easy and geo-localized access by region, which was done through GIS geoprocessing tools. Through the programming created and available on the platform (https://arqgeo.insod.org/en), it is possible to navigate on the website and search separate data on undergraduate, master's and doctorate courses, as well as statistical information and geolocation of officially registered Archeology courses in the whole of Brazil. In addition to a review of this scientific field in the country, in its institutional aspects of vocational training – and which indicate on the areas (thematic and geographical) of archaeological research concentration – the ARQ-GEO Project highlights discussions on procedures for access to information in an action aimed at upholding the longstanding social memory of knowledge, in order to promote an interdisciplinary dialogue between Archeology and its related fields, fundamentally between Geoprocessing and Information Sciences. Among the results already obtained, we highlight the relevance of this platform that promotes the mediation not only between knowledge on the formation of professionals in Archeology and the locus of knowledge production in this field, but also fosters interaction about history and scientific memory, fostering discussions about the group’s collective identity. As such, we can infer that digital media has contributed to the discussions relevant to the collective of Brazilian archaeologists who belong to various generations.pt_BR
