Abstract
One of the greatest advances in the building Power efficiency area in the country in the last years was the publications, the RTQ-C (Technical Requirements of Quality for the energetic performance Level of Commercial Buildings) publications, and RTQ-R (Technical Regulation of Quality for the Power Efficiency Level of Residential Buildings) ones in 2010. The objective of this study is to identify the RTQ-C sensibility to the variation of internal load density of equipments in the evaluation of the energetic performance of office buildings envelope in different Bioclimatic Zones of the Brazilian Bioclimatic zoning. For that, the research was divided into seven stages: the art study, analysis models definitions, internal load density characterization according to ASHRAE Fundamentals (2009), models envelope characteristics definition, according to RTQ-C pre requirements, models power consumption using DesignBuilder software, power energetic performance comparison of the analyzed models, and results compilation. By the results it can be concluded that the envelopes with thermal transmittance according to RTQ-C power efficiency levels can present different power performances depending on equipment internal load density. It can be observed that office buildings with average DCI to envelope according to level B of RTQ-C show better power performance, however, in buildings with high DCI to envelope according to level C showed better energy performance. Based on the results, top and walls thermal transmittance values were pointed, being possible to observe the specific pre-requirements considering shape, window-wall ratio, use, and space occupation.
