A Educação Física no Ensino Médio Integrado: um desafio para articulação à formação humana integral

Abstract

The central objective of this research is to understand the construction of Physical Education curricular proposals and the interrelationships for integral human formation in integrated high school education at the Federal Institute of Education Sul-riograndense (IFSul). It intends to value the teachers' knowledge and skills, enabling relevant information about the Federal Institute (FI) researched, in order to conduct an action plan to qualify the curricular component of Physical Education, with the purpose of identifying the meaning of this discipline in integrated high school as a way to seek a closer approach with the other subjects of the curriculum and reflect on the role for the integral human formation of students in the FI. The theoretical foundation was based on the dialogue about integral human formation, curriculum proposals, school Physical Education, integrated high school, and professional and technological education. As for the methodological procedures, the qualitative research involved interviews with eight physical education teachers from six IFSul campuses, which were implemented after Law 11.892/2008, on official and technical documents related to professional education and technology and integrated high school education. For data analysis we used thematic data analysis (BRAUN; CLARKE, 2006). It was found that the curricular paths of Physical Education in Integrated High School at IFSul seek an articulation, a fitting point, of a curricular proposal interconnected to the process of integral human formation, since this movement of curricular integration allied to integral human formation still appears with isolated initiatives in some campuses of the institution. Thus, it is believed that that the integral human formation occurs/makes from the articulation of Physical Education with the different curricular components, through a curriculum thought in contemporaneity, which proposes the development of diversified and re-signified contents valuing the different senses of knowledge construction in an autonomous, flexible, and dynamic way.
