Utilização de sementes próprias e comerciais de soja na região oeste do Paraná

Abstract

The federal law that authorizes the production of the seeds for own consumption opened a precedent for the formation of a parallel market for seeds, but in some states, the informality in the seeds production and commerce became so high and caused the illegal commercialization and it menaced the agricultural production quality. If on the one hand the commercial seed has good qualities, it is an input that cloaks new technologies on account of the constant search for a better production, on the other hand, there isn’t the quality assurance of the informal seeds and it dreads the use of these in great scale and it can accelerate the variety degenerate, and it reduces sensitively the production potential, it rapidly will reflect an national level , because informal and illegal seeds don’t suffer supervision of the responsible organ and take the risk of become a diseases. Due to the economic fact that soybean represents for the Paranaense agricultural sector as the influence of the seed quality in the production success , the present work had the objective of comparison between the use of the commercial seed and the own seed that belongs to a group of farmers from Paraná west , in the covering area of Cooperativa Agroindustrial Lar, as well the realization of a data survey that refers to production techniques and the care that the seed receives until the moment of sowing.
